L'occasion de rééditer le super album 'The Jazz Experiments of Charlie Mingus' du multi-instrumentiste et compositeur de génie CHARLES MINGUS. Ce disque a été repressé en vinyle noir 180 gr. à partir des bandes analogiques de l'ingé-son Bernie Grundman. Réédition du classique de 1955 avec Stormy Weather et Thrice Upon A Time. Initialement sorti sous forme d'une série de 10 pouces, avant d'être compilé en LP, cet album est l'un des premiers chefs-d'oeuvre de Charles Mingus, un album qui fait allusion aux fioritures compositionnelles qu'il apporterait à ses chefs-d'oeuvre 'Mingus Ah Um' et 'Black Saint and The Sinner Lady'. Un portrait de l'artiste jeune homme, livré en deux faces d'un jazz réjouissant.
